I have been going to Church since 2016... but I first really met God at my lowest and worst point in my life.
At that time I remember crying out to God, help me, I don’t know what to do... I got this feeling like a breath of fresh air.
God spoke to me and said, you know what to do. In my heart I did, but I was scared and I had no confidence at that time.
God got me through bit by bit, day by day, whether it was through my amazing friends and family supporting me, or financially, or just God holding me up. Slowly everything fell into place, and God carried me back home to Ashford.
And from then on, my trust and faith in God grew day by day, until my good friend Trina brought me to Gateway Church… Where I just feel at home!
I have met so many amazing people, learnt so much about Jesus, which has helped my faith and trust grow. I’ve made so many close friends, through groups, community events, and Church on Sunday.
All of this is why I want to reaffirm my faith and be Baptised. My heart is so full of love for Jesus!
