Home to Gateway Church and the Riverside Café
Multi purpose venue
Following the purchase of The Riverside at the end of March 2017, we are now in the process of renovating it, involving both professionals, and also volunteers from the church.
Gateway Church
It is the home of the Gateway office throughout the week, open 9-4pm Monday to Friday. Our staff facilitate the day to day running of the church and the use of the building. We have various groups and activities happening throughout the week, so please do check out our calendar.
As a whole church community we meet at the Riverside every Sunday at 9am and 10.30am. Our meetings are open to regulars and newcomers.
Riverside Community Café
We set up a community café in October 2022 which is open Tuesday-Friday, 9.30am-4pm in the summer and 9:30am-3pm in the winter. The purpose of the café is to serve the local community and provide a safe space for people to rebuild, connect and grow. This project has been made possible by the generosity of the church community and small grants, read more further down.
Hiring
Rooms at the Riverside are available to hire to charities and organisations. To find out more information please get in touch.
