This Easter we are partnering with the local primary schools to provide Easter hampers for families struggling financially. Easter is all about God’s extravagant grace - we want to demonstrate his love and grace to local families this Easter.
By taking part in this you will be helping ease the financial pressure, bringing joy and hope into the homes of local families.
How - Collect the items on the list we provide and drop them off to the Riverside Centre. These items include:
- Easter Egg(s)
- Easter Egg hunt kit
- Easter Craft (Click here for ideas: https://www.thebestideasforkids.com/easter-crafts-for-kids/)
- Outdoor activity (ideas: bubbles, ball, chalks, skipping rope, yoyo)
When - deadline is by Monday 22nd March (we encourage you to drop it in as soon as it's ready). Please drop the gift(s) into the Riverside Monday to Thursday 9.30-3.30pm or on a Sunday if you attend a service (when they are back up and running). If you can't make any of these times just contact the church office on 01233 638866 or office@gatewaychurchashford.co.uk. The deadline day for gift drop off is Monday 22nd March.
Who - our team will then deliver these hampers, including essential foods, to primary schools to hand out to families prior to the Easter holidays.
