Dear Church Family,
With each day that passes we are one day closer to seeing one another again! As we walk through this season let's be encouraged to keep seeking after God, asking him to bring an end to this situation using this time wisely to grow in our relationship with him.
I have been reflecting on growing in holiness and godliness and you can see my devotional on Psalm 62 here.
We are also really blessed as we have a second devotional this week from Alache on Psalm 46, you can see this here.
On the topic of seeking God, we meet to pray this Tuesday night, at 7.45pm on Zoom, we will break out into smaller groups, so I'm hoping this will be interactive! Please can I ask you to log in 5 mins early to ensure you are set to go. Please get in touch for the meeting details.
Youth & Children's resources
As you may have seen our children's workers have produced some great readings of bible stories for you to watch with your kids, you can see them here.
Our Youth meet every Friday night at 7pm on Zoom, for more information please contact the church office.
Abi Hutter has recommended a free secular online course for coping well in the midst of the pandemic, you can access this here. It has some excellent advice on managing your mental health at this time.
This week I rediscovered this excellent talk by Tim Keller on the Resurrection, available here. It is well worth some time to watch/listen to.
I have spoken on several occasions over the past few weeks about the importance of making time to spend in God's presence and asking for the Holy Spirit to continue filling us. If there was one book I would recommend on the Holy Spirit, and the gifts He gives us it would be Practicing the Power by Sam Storms, it's available on Amazon, here.
I look forward to being with you again this Sunday as we meet together online,
Every blessing to you!
