We are delighted to announce that Give a Gift is now live for Christmas 2021!
Due to the amazing success and the continued need this year, we are delighted to once again be partnering with local primary schools and agencies in order to provide gifts for children who otherwise wouldn’t receive them at Christmas. This year we have been able to cast the net much wider making contact with lots of primary schools in Ashford and the surrounding areas as well as continuing the relationships that we built with the fostering agency and other charities through our work as a Church last year.
This means that once again we are asking the members of Gateway Church and the general public of Ashford to start giving towards this fantastic cause!
We have committed to giving 3 presents per child and as it stands we are anticipating well over 100 children to be signed up from primary schools which means well over 300 presents to be donated, wrapped and delivered by the 2nd week of December!
We are also applying for grants and have received generous donations of toys and gift vouchers from Keel Toys, The Works, The Entertainer and have a commitment of toys from Smyths Toys as well.
Giving and receiving is what this season is all about as we remember God giving us His only son that we may receive forgiveness, love, joy and peace. So let's overflow in an abundance of giving this Christmas!
Get involved by dropping off your gift(s) at The Riverside Centre, Monday-Fridays 9-3pm or on a Sunday morning. In the reception and café you'll see the drop-off points to leave your gift(s). Please spend no more than £15 per gift, and feel free to get as many as you like.
The closing date is Tuesday 30th November!
