The gardening group finished in July. We do not want to see the flowerbeds at Riverside fall into ruin after that. Check out the photos from the Gardening Groups handy work!
Perhaps you would feel able to 'Adopt a bed'!
This would mean taking responsibility just for a small area to weed it and water it if needed, perhaps for the next year or 6 months, whatever you can do. All the beds are planted up, but you can add any more plants in if you want to (at your own expense) so long as they fit in with everything else. If you can take one of these on, Sue can let you know about accessing the garage for the tools. You could go in any time that suited you whenever staff are in the building. The flower beds are as follows:
Tubs and hanging baskets at the front
Flower bed on the right at the front (facing the building)
Flower bed on the left (facing the building)
Office bed (left hand side outside the main office)
Kitchen garden (herbs)
Small bed and tubs at the back
Prayer garden - could divide this between 2-4 people.
Please contact me with with your first choice.
