Graham Hall

Graham is married to Sue and they have two children and five grandchildren. They pioneered the church in 2002 after serving on the leadership team at King’s Church Norwich for many years.

Graham grew up in Leicester and supports the Foxes (Leicester City FC). Sue originates from Maidstone and works part-time as a quality control manager in health care. They both enjoy cycling and allotmenteering.

Richard Burgess

Richard is married to Pam who works at one of the local secondary schools as an administrator, and they have three children (now grown up) and three grandchildren. Richard and Pam have been at Gateway since 2011 where Richard has a passion for preaching and teaching.

Richard has a background in horticulture and has been actively involved in various aspects of church life, ministry and mission before ultimately working for the church full time.

Barney

Hall

Barney and Claire moved to Ashford from Bromley in 2017. Before working for the church, Barney worked as a Secondary School Head of Art; Claire is a teacher at a local primary school.

Barney is the Lead Pastor, responsible for leading the Elders Team and the staff team.

Pete

Turnbull

Pete is married to Debbie and they have four children. They joined the church in 2009 after moving to Ashford from Bermondsey in South East London. 
 

Debbie is a music teacher and serves as a worship leader in the church; Pete works full time in finance. They both enjoy the occasional bit of running; Pete is also a long suffering fan of home town team Plymouth Argyle!
