What is Newday?
Newday is an awe-inspiring christian youth event attracting more than 7000 young people each year. It's aimed for ages between 12-19yrs (School year 7 & upwards).
It takes place each summer and is currently held at the Norfolk Showground, all under canvas.
Newday 2010 highlights included:
- Awesome daily worship meetings, led by Matt Redman and Phatfish amongst others.
- Thought provoking seminars covering all aspects of life, from how to use Facebook to spread the gospel, to reaching inner city gangs, to Islam in Britain, to how we know we can trust the bible - phew!
- Outreach teams popped into Norwich to clean up graffiti and bring Jesus to the people of Norfolk!
- Gigs and games
- Prayer & fellowship
- Wind & rain in bucketfuls!
Newday 2012 promises more of the same. We can't wait!
Make sure you put 13th - 19th August 2012 in your diary, pack your wellies and get ready to meet with Jesus!
