We passionately believe God not only exists but he calls us to care for others. We seek to do this through Gateway Furniture.

The purpose and aim of this initiative is to practically help those in need by giving them access to good quality second-hand furniture at reasonable prices. This enables them to build a home for themselves and their families and together enjoy the comforts that are so often taken for granted.

Who is the service for?

Gateway Furniture works in relationship with the local social services and other organisations who deal directly with those in need. We run a referral system by which the local authorities and organisations can send people to us thus saving them money. However, anyone may access the service and purchase furniture at reasonable prices but for those who are referred there is an extra saving.

How does it work?

Gateway Furniture is a charity which does not receive any government grants or social funds so totally relies on the funds it raises through the sale of furniture to continue to help those in need. We do this through the generosity of the public and local businesses who kindly donate their pre-owned furniture to us. Without this support we could not help anyone.
